Hey guys,

I'm currently conflicted between these two for my take-to-school-but-still-ok-for-use-and-gaming-and-a-much-more-powerful-tower-at-home laptop. I'll be doing some light software development and some light gaming on the side. I'm mainly looking at decent/usable powerful ultrabooks under 3 lbs or 1.36 kg.

Both of the laptops are running ddr3 ram, my old laptop also runs ddr3 so I know what to expect. I'm mainly conflicted about the graphics card.

Storage is replaceable but ram is soldered on.

Asus Zenbook 13 UX331FN: ~ 830 USD

- i5-8265U

- GeForce MX150

- 8GB DDR3

- 256GB SSD

Asus Zenbook 13 UX333FA: ~ 1000 USD

- i7-8565U

- Intel UHD 620

- 16GB DDR3

- 512GB SSD

personally ill get the UX331FN with extra 8gigs of ram. not because the MX150. but due tot e fact i5 ---> i7 for170$ more? its not worth it. the i5 and i7 only have slight difference for U-series

yeah actually. but im choosing the 331 not bauce MX150 tho. because price performance.

and the upgradable path is much more cheaper than 1000$ one

13 inch Ultrabooks with dGPU will throttle

Where are you from? Budget? Any preference on battery life? Mind low sRGB display and non-upgradeable RAM?

Yes, it's better. But you're still not going to be doing any gaming outside of Maplestory.

From what I’ve seen in some reviews, when they open the bottom, the ram is soldered on but the storage is removable.

The US, 800~1000, none, not really, upgradable ram would be appreciated.

But I’ve decided to choose between one of the two I’ve listed already. Mainly because its the only ones I could find that is under 3 lbs that has decent processing power and most of the things I’m looking for.
