Just curious.

 

for ssd lifespan tbw’s.

 

so let’s say u download a game, 50gb. That’s 50gbw onto it permanently yes? Ok you load that game. Let’s say it’s rainbow 6 if it depends game to game. Let’s say you play every single map on there and your playing for a hour in all modes (so all mode/map files are read).

 

does each time you load that game use all 50gbw? How much is it?

 

how about every time you load the os open? Etc. Etc..

It is TBWritten,  not read. If you install a 50gb game and then play it however much, the total TWB would still be 50gb, assuming you don't need to download a patch etc. Save files are usually negligible.

 

I have a 3-4 year old SSD with many many windows reinstalls etc, and it is only 20TBW in total.

Imo you would be hard pressed to actually exceed the TBW amount within your warranty period, although I suppose you could if you are prone to uninstalling and re-downloading your entire steam library for fun
