Websites with no https??

Go to solution Solved by Mira Yurizaki,

The only thing about HTTP vs. HTTPS in a very simplistic way is the traffic between you and the website isn't encrypted. So a snooper can see what's going on if they wanted. That's it.

Hi guys, i have some strange question and need to ask for more information regarding it.

A friend of mine told me before that websites with no https protocol can cause hardware problems to any of your PC components like RAM when you just enter it.

But to be honest i don't think this is true, because there's many sites with no https protocol and its very safe, however, there are many other sites with https protocol but its dangerous to enter.

Actually my knowledge about this is little, so i hope for more clarification about this.

Thanks in advance.

Yeah that's what i was knowing before, but thanks for approving this to me, i just wanted to make sure that those websites won't cause hardware damage to my PC components when just entering them.

Actually there's some sites i'm browsing, but just browsing only, for reading purposes maybe most of the time, i don't give any personal data to them, don't even have account registered in those sites i'm browsing.

The only way for that to happen is if there's malicious scripts on the website. This can happen regardless if the site is using HTTPS or not.
