Installing new Ryzen 3600 in new motherboard will not display bios

So I just got a new motherboard (Gigabyte X570 gaming X) and processor (ryzen 3600). When I try to boot the computer starts but will not display anything on the monitor. I do get the single beep "system normal" from the board. I am also using a GTX 1080. Any help would be appreciated

Try a different cable possibly or a different port, also make sure you connected both powers for the video card.

Asus Sabertooth x79 / 4930k @ 4500 @ 1.408v / Gigabyte WF 2080 RTX / Corsair VG 64GB @ 1866 & AX1600i & H115i Pro @ 2x Noctua NF-A14 / Carbide 330r Blackout

Scarlett 2i2 Audio Interface / KRK Rokits 10" / Sennheiser HD 650 / Logitech G Pro Wireless Mouse & G915 Linear & G935 & C920 / SL 88 Grand / Cakewalk / NF-A14 Int P12 Ex
AOC 40" 4k Curved / LG 55" OLED C9 120hz / LaCie Porsche Design 2TB & 500GB / Samsung 950 Pro 500GB / 850 Pro 500GB / Crucial m4 500GB / Asus M.2 Card

I know Im sorry Im stating the obvious but just in case ya know.. I don't know your technical level and I say make sure both powers are connected on video card as obvious.  But you are technical as you have done previous build, so sorry didn't meant to offend you with that.  Anyhow... Can you check if the video card fans are spinning.  Something is fishy as your mobo and cpu should go hand in hand.  I have a feeling video card fans aren't spinning when you power up.  Do you see any red light anywhere on the motherboard ?  There must be one if its not posting.

No problem dude. I wasn't offended. (text misses some of the nuances of communication). In regards to the GPU, the fans are spinning and there are no red lights. That's why I am so confused.  Also as a side note the keyboard LEDs are on. Also I am running Corsair ram.

If you are using dual channel RAM try using the other set of dual channel slots.

Different motherboard designs (and/or) motherboard vendors require your RAM to be seated in specific slots to boot. It should be specified in the MoBo manual.

So funny story. The board is working now and I have no explanation. If I find the reason I will post it here. That for all the help

Did you give the PC case a good kick? That usually works. /s

Edit: I guess you could update your bios to the latest revision. Given that other people using your mobo/cpu combo haven't reported issues with it.
