iPhone 7 plus vs s9+

I don't know if this is the right Forum to ask this but here we go

I want to buy a gift for my grandma and my budget allows me to buy her a s9+ or an iPhone 7 plus. If found them new on eBay with money back guarantee so I think I am safe. So I don't know what to choose. Btw my grandma currently has a s6 and all she does is to listen music on yt , send some whatsapp messages , make some photos and also use Google translate. But her s6 has a problem it is rooted. She bought it second hand so yah... So I have to decide between the iPhone with is easier to use or the s9+ which has a heart rate monitor with allows you to measure your stress. My grandma was very sad because her s6 couldn't check her stress(root). What would you choose?

consider grandma age, do you think she can adopt new OS?

s9+ is preferred anyway

It shouldn't be a problem for her , she loves to learn new things
