So i bought a new motherboard to go with my old cpu and everything worked just fine and even went to the bios and everything , then i cut the power to plug in the use thumb-drive to install windows only to find that the pc wouldnt boot up ; the fans made a very slight movement like they were gonna start spinning and just instantly failed , so i changed ram that i had laying around and still no difference .. I even changed the cmos battery too just in case.

Im starting to think its a the psu maybe but im not sure at this point

Looks like ur Psu did not like getting unplugged ^^ Could u try the system with the old mainboard and see if that still works ?

Lol i just tried on another motherboard with different hardware and it still does it rip my psu i guess ?

I admit i did a lot of plugging and unpluging via the I/O butto  but im surprised that much was enough to kill it :/
