Hey guys,

I currently have the following:

CPU: i9 9900kf (Int graphics disabled)

COOLER: Dark Rock 4 (not pro)

MOBO: MSI MPG Z390 Gaming Pro Carbon

RAM: Corsair Vengance LPX 16GB (2x 8gb) 3200mhz (ill probably up this to 32GB at some point)

GPU: Gigabyte GTX1070 Mini

SSD: Samsung EVO 860 SSD

HDD: WD 7200 Black 1TB

PSU: EVGA gold 750w PSU

MONITOR: 3x Asus VE248 24" 1080 monitors (more for multitasking than surround)

I'm looking to upgrade my GPU to the RTX2080TI later in the year, BUT before I do, I'd like to make sure I don't already have a bottleneck here that I should fix first.

I'm not looking for the AMD vs intel debate or anything like that.

If the current system is okay, and just needs some overclocking or better cooling, I'm happy to do that, too.

I know the 9900k runs really hot, so if I need to beef up my cooling to get it going faster, im open to it.

My goal here is to prepare for Microsoft Flight Simulator next year, as well as whatever other amazing games are on the horizon.

I also do a lot of 2D and 3D CAD in Vectorworks and other rendering but that's not as intensive as professional users would need.

Keen to hear your thoughts!

You really don't have to worry about a bottleneck in this price bracket. An i9 9900KF can handle the best GPUs out there, you've got high speed memory, basically you're set.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

I mean, Depending on your OS install and actual usage.....

A bigger better NVME SSD

Bigger Better HDD (add redundancy if important info)

You have 3 1080p TN panels worth 340$ together........I would definitely upgrade your monitors to 144Hz/1440p IPS

Sound????
External DAC
Topping DX3 Pro $220

plus decent headphones

Could also get a new case or heatsinks/AIOs/Fans.

at your budget just get the best without spending on something worthless.

and spend what you want on aesthetics(looks/sound) til your completely happy with it.

There are Rumors of a new NVIDIA GPU using the same part from the 2080Ti, we don't know what it is...but maybe good to wait for its release(possible gaming gpu, but also maybe not.)
