Has anyone swapped xbox one hard drives? (as in two working systems)

I have an original Xbox one 1tb with my gameshares and games and whatever on it.  I also have an original Xbox one 500gb.  I was wondering if anybody has swapped the drives between two and has there been any issues? There shouldn't be but before I tear into them I would like to know.  Microsoft doesn't like it too much when you swap out hardware so.  Before anyone says it the 500gb one is screwed into a gun case and modified to fit and work with a monitor in the case (basically just a portable Xbox) and the 1tb hasn't been touched.  I want to have the 1tb drive in the case be my main and travel one and use the 500gb drive in the stock one for other stuff.
