Did i do it right ???

So on my friends new system with a b450 tomahawk mac and 2x8 kit of 3200 ddr4 and basically all i did in the bios was turn xmp on and set the speed to 3200, did i do it right ???

CPU: Amd Ryzen 3400g 

COOLER: Be Quite Dark Rock Pro 4

MOBO: Aorus x570 elite 

RAM: 2x8 Corsair Vengence 3200 MHz 

SSD: Samsung 970 Evo Plus 500GB

GPU: Powercolour Red Devil RX570 4GB

PSU: Corsair RM750x 80+ Gold

CASE: Coolermaster H500p Mesh

I just run my RAM on the XMP profile, I've personally not overclocked my RAM any further.

I don't know really, there's probably someone else on this forum that can help you with overclocking RAM.

You can verify it by running HWINFO64 or CPU-Z etc to see memory speeds.

Boot into windows and run CPU-Z then click on the memory tab. This will tell you if your settings are applied or not. Also run Memtest86 to stress test the memory to see if it's stable.
