im looking for a graphics card that would go well with a ryzen 3 2200g does anyone know what would perform better than the integrated graphics at around $130-$150? i was thinking like a rx 570? but im not sure what kind of frames this would give or if it would even do better than the integrated graphics.

RX 580 from eBay fits in your budget. If you're aiming for new, the 570 is a solid choice. Just don't buy the Armor variant of these cards, the cooler sucks.

Not sure if I trust AliExpress for something that expensive, pretty sketch.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

You can do way better than an RX 570 if you're looking on eBay for $130. You can get RX 570s for $75 if you pick your listings carefully. There are three good rules of thumb I use to find a good listing that can be had with a cheap offer, and using those rules, this is a perfect listing to slide in that lowball on. I think you could get a 980 Ti for your $150 on that listing, but you do not need a 980 Ti for a 2200G. You can pretty easily get yourself a solid RX 580 8GB with a good cooler for $130 or a little under, so that's the way I'd go.

And if anyone slides in an offer of $150 and lands that 980 Ti, you're welcome.

I enjoy buying junk and sinking more money than it's worth into it to make it less junk.

i was thinking this one https://www.ebay.com/itm/MSI-Radeon-RX-580-ARMOR-8G-OC-8GB-GDDR5-Gaming-Graphics-Card/323887722203?epid=21026727039&hash=item4b69366edb:g:klMAAOSwfrhdWa8l

it seems just right i know someone here said not to get the armor variant but i was thinking that i would just put an extra fan in the case for better flow on the card and brand new paste and pads.

Know how ungodly loud reference blower coolers are? The Armor is louder. At stock. When it's turned off.

Look for PowerColor Red Devil and Red Dragon cards, MSI Gaming X, XFX cards are usually solid. There's something that appears to be a VisionTek referencey card with a custom cooler for $111+shipping. I've never had any issues with VT but I haven't used them much, and if it goes dead on you within 30 days you can return it at the seller's expense. More importantly, the seller has accepted 7 of the 18 offers made to them, and only one of those offers accepted was for multiple cards. 70% of the cards they've sold have come via accepted offer.

I like those odds. Play your cards right on the offer and you could walk out with a $100 RX 580 8GB (before shipping). Here you go.

i think i will go with your recommendation it looks good to me. Do you really think it will be much better than the integrated graphics of the 2200g? like what would it be comparable to nvidia wise?

It's on par with the 6GB GTX 1060, a little more or less depending on the game. I think that pegs it somewhere between the 1650 Ti and 1660, but I admit I haven't been paying too much attention to the GTX 1600 series and could be wrong.

By comparison, the 2200G's integrated graphics are about on par with an RX 550, which can barely even be called a gaming card unless you're playing in 720p. I would consider an 8GB 580 alongside a 2200G to be a really solid 1080p gaming combo.

well this is a build for my brother and he is gaming on a 720p monitor he just wants more table frames and better fps. i think once this card goes in it will complete the build.

Nitro + models are out there for good prices, and they're mad overclocked.
