PC Upgrade - CPU or GPU?

Brinkframe
Go to solution Solved by Epimetheus,

The 1050 ti should be holding you back more than the 2200g, however you'll have to change both sooner or later so i'd get the 2700 since that cpu can last much longer than an rx 580

I currently have a Ryzen 2200g and a 1050ti, I don't know whether I should upgrade my GPU or CPU, as I can get a rx580 new for about $160, but  I can get a ryzen 2700 new for about the same price.
