G.Skill RAM performing poorly

I'm seeing that my RAM is performing way below expectations, does anyone have an idea as to what could cause this?  The Motherboard is a Gigabyte B450 AORUS PRO WIFI

 

Any advice appreciated, I want to get the most out of this machine that I can.

Is Userbenchmark really trustworthy for doing / comparing things like that? 

Otherwise your Ram is probably 3000Mhz , but it seems like it's running at 2133Mhz. 
Is XMP activated in your BIOS? 
That could be the reason

Have you plugged it correctly in dual channel configuration instead of double rank?

XMP was not activated, I went ahead and did that.  It's plugged in correctly, I'm running another benchmark now.  Is there a better benchmark program I should try to run?

Aida64 memory benchmark will give you info about write/read/copy speeds and latency

Even with XMP on, it's still coming up the same on the test.

Ran the AIDA test and these were the results, some is blocked due to it being a trial version

Here is your problem.

Your ram is running in single channel and at 2133Mhz.

Is your ram positioned in slot 1 and 3, or 2 and 4? They cannot sit next to each other.

So my board is kind of strange in that it has the slots labels 4-1 | 4-3 | 4-2 | 4-4 in that order on the board. So I put the ram in slot 4-1 and 4-2.  The mobo is a Gigabyte B450 AORUS PRO WIFI. Should I put the RAM in 4-1 and 4-3?

So 1+3 OR 2+4 OR 1+2+3+4

Okay, it just threw me off because in that case the 2 sticks will be side by side instead of 1 in skip 1, then 1 more.
