hello, in the last few days my pc would suddenly get a black screen when my gpu was in use and needed a reboot to make it work again, until it stopped dysplaing anything right from the power on and the fans on the card wouldn't turn on at all. I tried both my psu and gpu in another pc and they worked and I can still use my pc if i connect the monitor to the integrated graphics. I also tried another gpu in my pc and it didn't work.

Can I assume my motherboard pcie slot is not working anymore and replace it?

my specs are CPU i5 6500, GPU: rx 470, PSU: fsp 550W, motherboard: asrock B150M-HDV.

Yes, if you tried another GPU in that slot and it still doesn't work it's probably the board. You could also try changing the PCIe Link Speed if that option is available in the BIOS, this could help it's its a signal integrity issue.

why no dark mode?

thanks, i tried changing from auto to the other options but it didn't work. I think i will have to order another motherboard, i was thinking Gigabyte GA-H110M-S2H since it has a decent price where i live
