Depends on what the rest of your system is gonna be, chances are that you aren't gonna need 800w and would indeed be better of getting the 600w gold.

Depends on the model. There are 1000W gold power supplies that are worse than 500w bronze ones. What models are you looking at and what is the system.

i have a ryzen system with amd ryzen 5 1600 with stock cooler sitting on msi a320m pro vh plus and gtx 1660ti with adata 240gb ssd and crucial 16gb 2400mhz ram
