reds are not tactile and only really make a sound at a bottom out while blues have a tactile click that is very audible when its activated. Reds are by far the quieter, and IMO the better choice, though I could be a bit subjectively BIAS since I use Reds myself and do not like blues.

Some people like tactile clicking, some do not. Some people like mushy quiet keyboards, some do not.

Like, I distinctly remember people in 1998 wanting the old IBM/Fujitsu mechanical keyboards because they made so much noise.

The model m is legendary not just for the noise but for tactility

Reds are linear and therefor don't necessarily make a noise, you only ever hear the bottom-out. Blues by comparison are tactitle and make a very distinct click as well as the clack at the bottom-out.

As a fan of both linears and blues, linears to me sound a bit nicer as the clickiness of tactiles tends to get a little annoying after a while, compared to linears which make a faint noise at the bottom-out.

Which one has the better sound ?? mine is blue and trust me my brother in the next room can hear it

Between those 2 Reds definitely sound better. IMO click jacket switches, of which MX Blues are a type, are the worst sounding switches there are. The click is so plasticity and thin and rattly. As where MX Red will have a soft pleasant thock when bottomed out. However both of these switches low on the list of good switches.
