Help picking graphics card cooling

I'm gonna buy a rx 5700 xt for sure, should I get a blower type cooler or a open air cooler. My case is the nzxt h500i.

Get the open air cooler. Don't buy the blower cooler. You can pay like $20 or $30 more and you will get a much better graphics card.

Open Air, get a card like the Sapphire Pulse or ROG Strix. They will cool a lot better than the blower style.

I would leave it alone since its rather new and custom cooling is sorta statrting to pop up and what not.

For the 5700XT, an AIB card like the ones @Mnky313 mentioned. The blower cooler will suffice if you wanna slap the fans up to a much higher RPM than stock, but you'll still have slightly higher temps and a heck ton more noise. The 5700 apparently doesn't suffer too much even with the blower, but the XT defo needs the better cooling performance. Only reason to get the XT as a blower would be if you're in a very cramped chassis and need the heat exhausted straight out the back, or plan to put a waterblock on it.
