Streaming PC

So, I have a client commissioning me for a cheap PC, for streaming, for his PS4. He has an Elgato HD60 S.

 

Now, I can't find out much on if these cards are mainly GPU accelerated or CPU accelerated?

 

I've been planning to use a FX 8150 and GTX 650 Ti, and the client would like to stream at 1080p, 30fps.

 

Would this be possible.

I would really say that to be on the safe side go with a card like the RX 460 or something that can handle the game. Streaming is dependant on the whole system, from the GPU to the CPU and the RAM amount. I suggested the RX 460 because it is a good performer, cheap, and easy to find. It will do the job you need it to do well and might exceed what your client is expecting for the same price if you were to go with the lesser 650 Ti. Now, im not too sure about finding specifics on your card I can very well link you to some resources.

Since the minimum specs DO say that you would need minimum a 650 Ti, I'd still suggest the 460 for the best performance possible for your client. The 8150 will do a good job and is fine on its own.

I'll recommend a 750ti instead. It is pretty much comparable to rx460.

650ti wouldn't be able to push it.

 

Also, 8150 should be fine.
