Skip Far Cry 5 and go directly to New Dawn?

I've been wanting to play a new AAA first person game to inaugurate my upcoming new personal use PC and I want something with all the eye candy possible but that's fun/good too.

 

I haven't been playing a whole lot of games lately and I don't know what to go for, I have played Far Cry 4 a lot and enjoyed it plenty so I thought about the new installments however I have heard a lot of negative feedback on FC5 and the setting does put me on doubt.

 

That said, New Dawn seems to be a very good take on post-apocalyptic and if the controls/mechanics are like FC4 I'm sold on it, as I enjoy how it plays out.

 

Should I skip FC5 and go straight to New Dawn? ooooooooorrrrrr if any one wants to suggest games alike, I'll greatly enjoy hearing out different alternatives.
