Phone unlocking while travelling

I bought a samsung s9 from metropcs in US a while ago, I am now in Thailand and have put in a Thai sim card into the phone which comes up with the problem "Network locked SIM card inserted.". I have paid doctorsim.com to unlock the phone and they gave me a code but I see nowhere to enter the code. I have restarted the phone and nothing happens. Anyone have experience unlocking phones ? I want to be able to travel without any worry about my phone. If anyone know and prefers to instruct me I also use discord
