Super cheap 3175X

Go to solution Solved by Raudi_,

After talking with some friends that have bought them they say DO NOT BUY.

1.) The CPU's are known to literally explode.

2.) About 700$ overpriced

Thinking about upgrading to a 3175X from my 7980XE but decided not to due to the cost of the CPU. However I keep seeing these chips listed and they seem to be identical to the retail version that costs $3000, so are there any real drawbacks to buying a CPU like this?

W-3175X has 28 cores, not 26, so while it might be the same architecture, it's no W-3175X.

It overall just looks risky, and I'm not a gambling person.
