Hi so i bought a gt 1030 graphics card a while ago(i had gt 210), I had core 2 duo E7500 but then i wanted to upgrade the cpu so I bought a used core 2 quad q9550 and then I noticed that the temperature is about 80c (the maximum temp for core 2 quad on intel website is 71c )  after that I started to see massive frame drops in games (like cs go on 720p low everything runs at around 100 fps then it suddenly became 5 fps and other games too)  so I really want to know what is causing this problem.

Thanks

p.s: my pc specs are

4gb ram

gt 1030

core 2 quad q 9550

msi g41m-p26 mb

and 500watt power supply(not really 500 watts its cheap power supply runs about 350 watts i guess)

monitor 1080p

It might be RAM, try monitoring RAM usage in game, 4GB is not a lot especially with windows 10.

why no dark mode?
