I have recently (1 week back) noticed that my internet connection got really slow out of nowhere. I tried doing a bunch of things about it, I tried playing with the DNS things, it didn't help at all. I resetted my network on Windows 10, didn't help too, or I didn't notice anything change. I resetted my router, tried changing Ethernet cables and still nothing. My phone is doing the same as it was before, I tried connecting an another computer, and it was just fine. I am on a desktop PC and any page would load in under 1 second, now even searching a term in google can take up to 10 seconds. Videos take longer to load, joining game servers can take up to a minute and I just can't figure out what the problem is. I don't really think that my internet/router is the problem, I think it is my computer, but I just can not figure out what is causing this problem.

Here is my internet speed test, I am honestly not sure if this site is any good, but I use it regularly.

I will be doing the Windows one first, because I have got no idea what a Live Linux Disk is and how do I use it and how do I get it. But I guess a little Googling will do the job. Thanks for any advice, I will get back here if any problems persist.

I have no idea if my Windows has updated, I really don't care if it updates, because I never had a problem with it.

Live Linux Disk

You essentially run Linux off a USB flash drive. You boot from the USB and it will boot in to Linux. From there you do your test. If your speeds return normal it means your Windows install is possibly borked.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.

I don't think a resintall or live linux is necessary.  Are you sure the ethernet cable from your pc to the router is in good condition? Make sure that it's not the cable causing it.

If it still does not work, Try booting from a live linux usb stick or windows to go stick and check the speed, so you can define if the problem is caused by windows.

Are you actually getting slower speeds over speedtest.net? What is the speed usually?

And do you experience packet loss and long latency overall?

open cmd and run "ping google.com"

there you can see if you have packet loss and if the latency is crazy
