I own an HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop. I'll start from the beginning. I created a bootable usb with kali linux on it with this same computer. I know the USB was working because I used it on my laptop while watching tutorials on the desktop. I figured I'd try the usb on the desktop, but couldn't because of secure boot or something. I then unplugged the usb and tried booting off my ssd, but it kept spitting out error 03F0: failed to find a bootable drive or something. I've looked everywhere, and tried everything. I really don't want to tell my dad because I know he'll get mad.

List of things I've tried:
Resetting BIOS settings.
Checking boot order.
Hard Resetting.
Unplugging all extra peripherals besides keyboard & mouse.
Running hard drive diagnostics.

make sure secure boot is on, then go to your boot device priority or order and make sure your ssd is listed.

Then look under the boot options for something like "windows boot manager" and make sure thats selected as the default.

If none of that works, make a windows 10 bootable usb and do a startup repair by booting from that usb.

I really appreciate the help, but I've tried literally everything.

I've ran every diagnostic and they all say my storage devices are running fine. It's amazing how a usb could wreck my computers entire booting process. The windows media creation tool failed the first time, but I'm trying it again.

Today hasn't been my day, and I'm not looking forward to telling my dad.
