Need suggestions for a Cooler to fit my Rig.

I'm looking to update my CPU cooler and noticed I see people talking about issues with certain cases/ram etc. How do I know what will fit? do I need to just measure it all out? this is my setup now? Looking for something better than my AMD stock cooler that is also not and eye sore.

I mean, what's your budget? Put your build in this website called pc part picker. Then put in a CPU cooler. If it fits there should be a green checkmark above your build. If there's a red X, scroll down all the way, there's an issue.

Hey Budget I haven't really considered I would say middle of the road, $60-$75 USD. I didn't know PC part picker would tell me if it would fit or not. I'll have to try it out.

Ok well, a dark rock 4 is a nice cooler for around that much. There are probably a lot more, I'm just not too good with cooling

XD factsss. I'll do some research though and see if I can find a bit more options. Have you tried the dark rock 4 in pcpp yet?

Ya it fits. going through the full list. there are so many options out there vs like the 3 everyone seem to recommend.

CPU cooler clearance is usually listed in case specs and that can be compared to the cooler's height. Cooler specs may also include RAM clearance and that can be compared to the RAM height but you may have to resort to reviews for reference.
