Hi everyone I'm new here.

I wanted some advice about updating my current PC with a tight budget.

My Current Build:

CPU: AMD x4 860k

GPU: Gigabyte GTX 970 (I'd prefer to keep this in my build)

Memory: 8GB DDR3 1600Mhz

Motherboard: Asrock fm2a55m-hd+

Storage: 500GB HDD

PSU: 600W EVGA

It runs kinda bad in AAA titles and I feel like there are quite a few bottleneckers like the CPU and hard drive.

I have a really tight budget of max 300CAD. Could somebody recommend some options for upgrades within my budget?

Thanks a lot!

Kevin.

get some cheap ass 40cad, mobo, ryzen 1600, and 2 x 4gb ddr4 ram @ 3200 mhz. And then u could buy like 500gb ssd for under 100cad

I Use my knowledge as business owner and self taught technician aswell as an AI to help people. AI might be controversial but it actually works pretty well 90% of the time.

Thanks a lot, but I would also really like to get an SSD because my game load times really chug sometimes. Appreciate it though.
