hi all !
Last week I finished building the new SFX PC inside Node 202 and there is something that has made me anxious about my GPU,
i have an RTX 2060 Super Gigabyte 2 fan one and when the card is idle its 30-40c (86-104F) but when i play games like GTA V, watch dogs 2 etc getting around 65-75c (149-167F)
i have 2 120mm fans mounted inside, the PC is connected to a TV so its set vertically console style with good airflow (CPU gets around 30-39c/86-102.2F even when i play games), the case gets way too hot where the GPU is,
when the card gets hot i don't get any decline in performance

is it normal ?
thanks !

Main PC :

CPU : i9 10900K || RAM : 64GB || GPU : RTX 3090

Workstation PC :

CPU : i5 10400F || RAM : 48GB || GPU : RTX 2060Super

SFX PC :

CPU : i5 9400F || RAM : 16GB || GPU : RTX 2080Super

You could always order some extra feet to raise it further off the shelf to improve the intake for the GPU.  I actually did that for my laptop.

GPUs often have a default fan profile for silence not performance.  So it could be worth using something like MSI Afterburner to tweak the fan profile so they run a bit faster, just pick whatever point you feel its not too noisy.

But otherwise no, it shouldn't cause a problem but you might be able to overclock a little if you did.

ASUS B650E-F GAMING WIFI + R7 7800X3D + 2x Corsair Vengeance 32GB DDR5-6000 CL30-36-36-76  + ASUS RTX 4090 TUF Gaming OC

Router:  Intel N100 (pfSense) Backup: GL.iNet GL-X3000/ Spitz AX Switches: Netgear MS510TXUP, MS510TXPP, GS110EMX
WiFi6: Zyxel NWA210AX (1.7Gbit peak at 160Mhz) WiFi5: Ubiquiti NanoHD OpenWRT (~500Mbit at 80Mhz)
ISPs: Zen Full Fibre 900 (~930Mbit down, 115Mbit up) + Three 5G (~1200Mbit down, 115Mbit up, variable)
Upgrading Laptop/Desktop CNVIo WiFi 5 cards to PCIe WiFi6e/7

Yes, Afterburner uses the nVidia and AMD drivers directly, so should work on any card.  Gigabyte probably have their own software that does the same too, most vendors do.

The feet I just searched eBay for self adhesive rubber feet.  I did the same with my PS4 as it seemed to reduce the noise.

pretty normal.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

Human skin is a bad metric for PC temps, a CPU thermal throttled at 100 Celsius which is scorching to a human, but is fine at 80 which is still scorching.
