Hi

So, i want to place MotionEyeOS camera in really odd spot, where i can't route a ethernet cable. I want to use an wi fi extender, to be exact TP-Link RE200. I've never used something like this and I'm worried that i will not find an ip adress on my router to connect camera to a hub. Will it be a problem?

The TP link can act as a hub if you can get signal to the TP-LINK and run the ethernet the rest of the way to the camera, you just go though the normal setup connecting the extender to you main routers wifi and your main router will assign the IP address out to the extender and camera.

If running a wire even to the extender isn't possible then just using the extender wifi to connect to the camera will work the same just make sure you stay in range of the main router to get the best signal.
