control cpu frequency

I have a asus tuf fx505gm with (Gtx 1060 6G) and core i7 8750h with turbo boost 3.9 GHz but with high temps it reaches 98° some times i turnd off turbo bost after installing a registry file and now it run on bese speed 2.2 GHz but i had a big preformens drop in games is there any way to limit the turbo boost speed like make it 3.4GHz

You could download intel XTU and try undervolting the laptop.

I tried undervolting but i had the same result i also tried coling pad but notheing

Sadly, you likely just need to deal with the heat. Laptops are designed around this and operate differently in that regards than desktops do in terms of cooling and what to expect. Hell, my work laptop regularly hits 100c when just opening applications up.

That model has bad cooling, you should avoid it at the first place

 

Anyway, you can lower down turbo ratio limits with Throttlestop (FIVR). Also please do undervolting
