So i a few months back i got a new pc. I7 7800x, RTX 2070, Corsair RMx750X, 16 gb ram. Everything seemed to be fine. But i noticed that some games run poorly. Like rust in which i only get 50 fps in max graphics. Which it not alot compared to benchmarks online. Minecraft also ran poorly. Now i saw a youtube video about RTX cards getting BSOD because of one of these 3 things. 1. 144hz 2. G- sync monitor 3. More than 1 monitor. I have all of those 3. I turned of g-sync, disconnected the second monitor, turned off g sync. Then i played witcher and it kept crashing. Lowering the hz to 60 fixed it for some time. But it started crashing again. I reinstalled windows. That didint fix it. Then used DDU to reinstall drivers that also didint fix it. Basicaly everygame i play crashes. The BSOD keeps happening more often. I need help.

  • 5 weeks later...

Were you able to find out what the issue was?

I've been having problems with my own PC - also RTX 2070, 144hz monitor that is g-sync capable, and I had been using a second monitor...

I had sent the whole system in for RMA, and they (supposedly) found nothing wrong with anything.

Unfortunately my computer BSOD 3-4 times after getting it back (the first one was that very night!). Within the fifth day Windows got corrupted somehow (fails the auto-repair before Windows launch) and I have to reinstall it. ^_^'.... I was waiting for a response from Tech before I attempted anything. . .

I really think it's a driver issue, but I don't know what or how.... I'm trying to see if others with RTX 2070 that are also using a 144hz monitor are using the same monitor (and maybe it's a conflict between that monitor with the GPU in combination with multiple monitors, etc.). I hope that makes sense.
