Swans are always better than Logitech .

If you truly want to know what you want just check maximum output watt of any speaker and does it have any wood added to it,s woofers. You can try Bose companion 2.1 speakers at same price range . But they have low sound output but better sound

Hi.. i need some advice , want to change my desktop speakers

my list :

1.Logitech Z506 (5.1 speaker)

2.Swan Hivi 1080

Which is the best , in terms of sound quality

Really Appreciate other recommendations

Thanks

Grab the swans if you want better sound quality. They have nicer quality woofers, and dedicated high frequency drivers (tweeters) which will smooth out the highs and mids alot better than full range drivers. They'll also image much better, which is better for games and music and movies. The swans also have much nicer cabinets which resonate alot less than the logitechs, which is what you want. If you've ever heard speakers resonate before its absolutely awful. The swan's will also have nicer amplifiers, as there is only two channels of amplification.

LTT's Resident Porsche fanboy and nutjob Audiophile.

Main speaker setup is now;

Mini DSP SHD Studio -> 2x Mola Mola Tambaqui DAC's (fed by AES/EBU, one feeds the left sub and main, the other feeds the right side) -> 2x Neumann KH420 + 2x Neumann KH870

(Having a totally seperate DAC for each channel is game changing for sound quality)

Bose make awful products. It's almost always better to get another brand. They only do noise cancelling well tbh. And maximum output wattage has no correlation to the maximum output of speakers. Efficiency is more important. If you give 75 watts to a really in-efficient driver, and only 50 to a high efficiency, the high efficiency is gonna get way louder, and you wont need much power to get the high efficiency driver to the same SPL as the low efficiency.
