HDD Fail

Could it be that an HDD be losing files?

Like games that was installed and sudenly the file is empty

that could be caused by a bad hdd

usually the file becomes 0 in size or cant be opened when the hard disk is damaged

 

to know more, because you didnt told us anything, run cristaldiskinfo, share a screenshot of what it reports on the hard disk with the problem

you have 3 hard disks there, are you sure it is that western digital 2TB hard disk?

yes i am sure the WD 2 TB is where al my games ar stored on the other is a intel optane and samsung M.2 PCI-E 512GB where windows is installed on

have you run a checkdisk on it? might had a partition error causing the problem

I have replaced the HD for an 1TB SSD no more isseus now thx for  the advice
