I Need Help

Right Now I am trying to reset my windows because it is not working but there are two opinions is to reset windows 10 on the diver but I have it on my flash drive and I have no idea if it deletes the windows off my flash drive or off my pc. I had to reset or uninstall windows because it is not working and the only option is to reset.

In Windows settings, go to Update & Security and then click on recovery on the left hand side.  Under "Reset this PC", click "Get started" and just follow the instructions.

I want to delete everything from my pc and windows but I have no idea if it is going to delete my copy of windows 10 in my flash drive

You're good dude. It just resets all of the settings/preferences; windows won't be deleted. It'll just be like setting up windows for the first time. 

 

If you're worried, just take out your flash drive first. It should be fine though

I've reset my PC a couple times. Windows was never uninstalled, just reset.

if you want a fresh install boot from a usb windows installer and then just select the partitions and click the x button to delete them and then it will just show a whole drive then select that and click install

If you have the Windows 10 installer on your flash drive, you can boot to that and format your current HDD/SSD then reinstall Windows on it.

 

Or you can go through the recovery menu and have Windows delete all the data and settings on your computer. It'll be pretty much just like a fresh install of Windows afterwards. (No separate installation process needed, you'll just have to go through the initial setup.)
