i5 6400 upgrade?

I have an I5 6400 with Gigabyte GTX 1060 3GB, (RAM 16 GB DDR4@2600, mainboard ASUS H270P) 

The project is making an hardware upgrade soon... usage:  gaming (not newest games) and streaming.

Do you think it will be better changing i5 to i7 7700 or throw away mainboard too and going straight to i7 8600 keeping just RAM?
