What to upgrade first

I made my PC in 2017 and haven't upgraded it since other than some new fans and an ssd. Right now, I have an R5 1600 and a gtx 1050 ti. With the new GPUs and CPUs coming out, I was wondering what to upgrade first, with what, and when. 

 

Edit: I want to try to take advantage of my 200hz 2560 x 1080 panel on games which is basically the only thing im doing on this computer

gpu first

1080p:

used rx570 / 580

new gtx1660

 

when you get higher end gpu later rtx 2070 or above then consider cpu upgrade, may be 4th gen ryzen

What monitor do you have? If FHD 60-75 Hz, it worth to upgrade to 1660Ti, 1660. (the GPU). If you plan on 1440p or 144Hz, I'd go for 5700(xt) or 2060(s) at least. The cpu is still very capable.

It depends on what u want to do. The gtx 1050ti is decent for 1080p medium so the only reasons to upgrade would be if u want more fps/higher settings or if you're starting to do 3d modelling then a new cpu would probably be needed.

I have a 260x1080 freesync (Which as you probably know has g sync) 200 hz monitor

Then definitely GPU upgrade first! 2060S-5700xt or some such.

 

What are your rams? Frequency-timings?
