Hey, I have a problem, if I play Fortnite and jump off the bus I have strong fps drops from 250 to 30 fps, I checked my hardware while playing and everything runs fine, only my hard drive is very full. A friend said it might be on the hard drive because it has no drops and its game runs on a M.2 SSD. He said the map, character etc. are loaded much faster on a M.2 SSD than on a normal SSD. Is that correct ? and are the FPS Drops really going to get away? PC: i7 8700k 4.8Ghz
RTX 2070 Asus
16gb DDr4 3000mhz
MSI Gaming pro Carbon
Thanks in advance

SSDs typically have zero impact on in-game performance. i.e., once the game, map, etc. is loaded, storage performance no longer matters. There may be hiccups if the game has to load in extra stuff, but it's not going to drop your performance and keep it there.

Does it drop to 30 FPS more or less exactly and stay there?

Hello, again to the FPS drops, my processor (i7 8700k 4.8ghz) runs at 30% utilization at 50-60 degrees, my GPU RTX 2070 Asus runs at 40-50% utilization at 45-50 degrees.
My 16GB Ram is fully used, but still ingame comes to FPS Drops of 250 to 30 fps. What can this be?
