Hi, I want to edit videos. Mainly gaming footage and I need some reliable and easy to use software. I have tried Premiere Pro but I have issues with it causing my audio on the footage to be out of sync and had it crash my computer and itself multiple times and lag while going through 1080p footage. Vegas, tried it not for long, just don't seem to like it at all as it seemed quite complicated and again rather laggy for some reason on a 7th gen i7. Cyberlink PowerDirector 17 seemed to work well for me, has good performance, not too complicated but also has the flexibility that I require.

Now other than Cyberlink Powerdirector I was wondering if there is any other alternatives I should consider that would work great.

Da Vinchi Resolve is free, not sure if it can do everything yet

Magix Vegas Pro 15-16 pops up on the humble bundle store from time to time for $20, has every basic feature you'd new and it the latest codexs for faster render times.

This one is basic and will probably get the job done for only $25 for now, No idea when Vegas Pro will be back on the humble bundle store.

There also appears to be a ton of keys for Vegas Pro on ebay, probably comes from the humble store? Should work fine, can probably get your money back if it doesn't work anyways.

davinci resolve

there are simpler tools, all depends on what you want to do and also discover why your audio got put of sync, you could ask for help on adobe forums to get more information about that, most people use adobe tools these days

+1 for resolve. It doesn't have the full feature-set of a true "pro" program, but it's well designed IMO.

Screwdriver specs: Long, pointy. Turns things. Some kind of metal.
