YouTube Uploading Slowly?

I don't need help with anything other than wondering if it's uploading slowly for others.

 

By slowly I mean... a file that should take in theory about 20-30 minutes to upload taking 500+ minutes.

 

My assumption would be servers are screwed or my ISP is being a twat. Bonus points if it's a Scottish guy that gets back at me!

Trust me, I know it's not the upload speed that is the issue but since you asked and so I don't sound like a complete asshat:

 

Actually, I must have some sort of issue.. I usually have an upload of around 10-20Mbit, but it seems to be lagging behind right now for some reason:

Huh, perhaps you could be seeding a torrent? Or someone in your neighbourhood is choking up the connection. Either way, that sucks. Hope your connection gets better soon.

Restarted router... a bit perplexed. I had a similar situation earlier and even though the upload was saying it was this high YouTube wasn't uploading as I would expect it.

 

Anyway, my file that was going to take "500 minutes" to upload is now taking 10. I guess I resolved this myself... yay!?

Wondering if this will rear it's ugly head again so... ja. Bit annoying! Either way, weird upload/download speeds? Restart your router!

Connected by wire as an fyi. Sorry it's late and I'm brainfarting when it comes to posting my issue I guess... although it appears to be resolved now so no big deal.
