GTX 1060 3GB and Ryzen 5 3600

Hey guys, i´m going to buy new CPU Ryzen 5 3600 for my GTX 1060 3GB. Will the GPU bottleneck in games (Witcher 3, PUBG, etc.)?

Yes and i have a plan to buy a new GPU in sometime.

3GB of VRAM will bottleneck you in some games.

I wouldn't worry about the bottleneck.  You will still be able to play a very large amount of games at respectable frame rates at 1080p.

The whole bottleneck thing is highly overrated.

Monitors: LG 34" Ultrawide    Samsung 28" 4k

Save up for a better GPU or buy used, the 1060 3GB is beaten by the RX 570 which is cheaper. Get yourself an RX 580 from eBay or even a GTX 980 ti

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

 

How many watts do I need? ATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explained, group reg is bad
