Struggling to connect to 5GHz Network

Jetrise

Hi All,

I'm trying to connect to my 5GHz network at home, however, it just gets stuck on "identifying" during connection. My computer is able to connect to 5GHz as I could do this whilst at other accommodation.

My Wi-Fi router (see picture) has also got other devices connected to it's 5GHz Network. I forced my network card to "802.11 a/n/ac" so it would only show 5GHz, and it just wouldn't connect.

Any ideas?

Thanks

so your pc can connect but not your phone?

sounds like your phon's problem.

go through wifi settings on the router and make sure that there is nothing blocking it on the "MAC filtering" or any sort of filtering (or whatever its called on your router)

No, my phone can connect. It is my PC that is the problem. It has the ability to connect to 5GHz, as I've done it before in a different house. But, since I've moved to a new house and a new router, it is not connecting at all.
