HELP PLEASE

jcooper2187

So i decied to build my little brother a basic pc, just for homework and basic gaming(if its possible). Ive started building it however it wont load when i put the hdmi into the tv(yes i know its not a monitor). The specs are:

MOBO: Asus M5A97 Le R2.0

CPU: Amd 6300 Processor

Ram: Corsair DDR3 Sticks (2x4)

GPU: Radeon HD 5700

Case: Unbranded however it is in the ebay link attached   https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ATX-M-ATX-GAMING-PC-COMPUTER-MID-TOWER-CASE-700W-ATX-PSU/153023155988?_trkparms=aid%3D111001%26algo%3DREC.SEED%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20160908105057%26meid%3D143197cc2f1141f192859be8ac5eaa15%26pid%3D100675%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D15%26mehot%3Dag%26sd%3D153023155988%26itm%3D153023155988%26pg%3D2481888&_trksid=p2481888.c100675.m4236&_trkparms=pageci%3Ab4753760-aef2-11e9-a89e-74dbd1800ebf|parentrq%3A29cb984616c0a99c257e38a3ff504321|iid%3A1

PSU:LMS Data 700W ATX PSU

When I launch the PSU a blue light appears by one of the symbols on the front(though i cant figure out which) but the power button has no effect. I think this may be because when i have looked at the manual it says on the front panel connectors there should be a speaker connector yet i dont have one, could this be why its not booting? And does anyone have a clear image of how the front panel connectors should look on this motherboard.

Another thing is that i have no hard drive at the moment its coming tommorow, could this be why it is not booting?

If anyone has an answer or has a different problem i should check out please comment, I need help

Thank you

take a picture of how you connected the leds and buttons in the front of the case, also a picture of the entire motherboard, as well lit as possible so we can see better all details of cable and parts installed

Not knowing how each of the connectors are labeled it's pretty difficult to know if they are correct or not. But it does appear they are.

If the motherboard was bought new then check the label on the side of the box it will have a BIOS version number. It's possible the the motherboard has a label on it with similar information. If the motherboard was bought used, check with the seller.

If you can't find a BIOS version, check for a manufacturing date. If you can find it, check the website for BIOS releases. They are all dated and motherboards are generally shipped with the BIOS most current at time of manufacture.

This is not the problem. A system is able to boot without an attached speaker. However, with a speaker one can hear any beep codes issues by the motherboard. These codes identify low level problems. One can purchase inexpensive speakers from various computer outlets. https://www.amazon.co.uk/sourcingmap®-Computer-Mainboard-Buzzer-Speaker/dp/B017LB6CJS/ref=sr_1_7?keywords=pc+case+speaker&qid=1564076292&s=gateway&sr=8-7

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
