So I am soon going to be building a new system to game on a 1440p monitor at 144fps. I just want to confirm that this pc will be able to handle that kind of load and that there isn't anything wrong with the PC that I can't see. Please let me know if there is anything that you think that I should change (as long as it doesn't cost too much more, my budget is $2k). Also keep in mind that some of these parts are chosen for aesthetic purposes, and although they might be overkill they make the system look how I want.

Specs:

CPU: Ryzen 7 3800X

CPU Cooler: NZXT Kraken X62 Rev 2

Motherboard: Asus Prime X570-PRO

RAM: Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 2x8GB 3200MHz

Storage: 4TB Samsung 860 QVO SSD

GPU: MSI Gaming Z RTX 2070

Case: NZXT H510 elite

PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA G1+ 650W 80+ Gold

Monitor: Acer Predator XB271HU

Have you also considered Intel? They are known for providing higher max frames, might be smoother on 144Hz.

The graphics card should be an RTX 2070 Super. If that's too costly, the RTX 2060, RX 5700, RTX 2060 Super and RX 5700XT are also good.

You're shooting way too low with the gear listed then. $2000 will buy you significantly more.

Here is more or less the same build as above, but in a sexy RGB setup!
