However, if I remember correctly some Gamecube games use frame-dependent motion at 30FPS, so any higher FPS will also speed up gameplay speed.

Tek Synicate Did  A vid on it go look there chanel for it. :-)

He only had a video on what you need to use a wii remote.

try searching for things like @rustikles linked. Also, search for the best settings of the specific game that you are tying to run.

What CPU/GPU do you have?

go here this where the latest stable release can be found as well as experimental releases that improve performance is certain games but can be very unstable also not all game will run @ 60 fps because they weren't designed for it, zelda windwaker is an example also even after some tweaks games can be extremely demanding depending on the specs of your system but a great inmprovement is changing the audio dsp to DSP HLE and enabling skip cpu access to EFB both thing greatly improve perfomance but can disable some graphics effects also i noticed hle audio sometime glitches and unsync audio for a few secs

this is one of the greatest thing that has happened to me recently, and it happened on this forum, those involved have my eternal gratitude http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/198850-update-alex-got-his-moto-g2-lets-get-a-moto-g-for-alexgoeshigh-unofficial/ :')

Some games run native at 60fps like double dash, but some like wind waker are locked at 30. Unless you do some serious tweaking. For stability reasons I have never tried to change it.
