I know the hd60s is better for streaming but someone's selling a blue snowball, a c920, and a HD60 for $110 dollars and i feel like i could get him down at least 10 bucks to 100. But i mainly intend to stream with it and i don't really need the hardware h264 encoder since i have a dedicated encoding pc. That being said is the hd60 worth it at this price, or should i just grab myself a hd60s?

(Also didn't know what sub this topic should go under so i just put it in general. Mods please move if needed lol)

I can't speak to the HD60, but I went from the original Game Capture HD to an HD60s and I can certainly say that the lack of delay between game and video output is a hugely helpful. It was something that you could correct for manually but if you had multiple video/audio sources on screen at once it got to be a real pain.

I don't know how the latency is on the regular HD60, but the fact that it has a hardware decoder makes me think that it probably will still have some. Whether it's an issue for you will depend on your setup; all that I can say for sure is that the S is pretty nice.

Im pretty sure the latency is around 2 seconds. The deal just seems too good to pass up, because most used hd60S's are around 100-120 on their own.

If HD60 is the one with encoder built-in, then it's worth it. If not, then depends what you are streaming. Or with what kind of serup. For the price whole pack is intriguing. C920 and the mic would already be close to $100 by themselves.

Yeah its a pretty good deal but its been up for around 2 months now which makes me wonder why no one else has snatched it up yet lol. Also i heard that the hd60 can "de-sync" over a long period of time so thats whats got me reluctant to get it.
