Updated gpu and still have the same problem.

Ashton Powell

So I got the new gpu, a rtx 2060, and now I can run Fortnite at like 200 FPS. The only downside is that it still crashes when I open it sometimes. Also, I lag sometimes due to a quick loss in frames. After this, it goes back to normal. Any ideas? I just really want to fix this.

Uninstall Fortnite.

No, but seriously, I can almost guarantee that Fortnite is the problem (assuming it doesn't happen on any other games or in benchmarks).

No it does the frame lag thing in all other games. Only Fortnite crashes. How can I fix the frame drop lagging?

It doesn’t do it in benchmarks I don’t think. It is just games.

Did you use DDU to clean install drivers?

Try upgrading to a SSD. Could honestly be internet or hard drive related.

You did mention g-force experience, I my self was having the same problem, and I did end up deleting g-force experience. And that actually fixed it. Only downfall you gotta update your drivers manually.

I did both, but I still have a frame drop every so often still. Maybe like 2 or 3 a game where I can’t move for like a half a second. Also, my ping is normally at like 20 so I don’t think it’s internet.

What are your system specs ? Cpu and memory and PSU ? If all else fails try a fresh install of Windows 10 update all drivers and putting everything one that ssd. No need to run hdd’s Anymore. To slow for gaming purposes.
