Hi, this might be a stupid problem but it is really annoying me :(

I've recently started to upgrade my pre built pc as it was getting pretty outdated and was looking to do a case swap. It's got an i7-4770, 16gb ram, I already upgraded the gpu to an rx 580 8gb and got a new psu.

So my problem is this pre built has a green motherboard as most do and it completely messes up the whole build and I'm not sure if I'll be able to deal with it...

So my question is, what would be the best way to hide this green colour. Not sure if I'm not just better off getting a non window case or trying to make this ugly motherboard fit somehow. Any suggestions?

The Cougar MX-330 is a good non windowed case, cheap and easy to work with.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

Thanks for the suggestion, looks like a really good case and also very cheap. I'm still 50/50 but honestly starting to lean more towards a non windowed case.

Would a green motherboard (MS 7826 ver 1.0 to be exact) look bad in something like the all black s340 or h500?

My setup is mostly black/red so green kind of ruins it. Would a tinted side panel work or maybe rgb strips?

Just trying to look at all my options here.

I'd go no-window case. Adding more color to a case with lots of mismatched color becomes hideous.
