Either choice will be extremely quiet :) just make sure you have enough clearance for whatever cpu cooler your using and youll be good to go. typically the fractral cases are a bit quiet btw but they lack the airflow of something like the 350d

It's not a great build. Strangely unbalanced. What is your budget and location if this isn't built already?

As for the case, the Define Mini is the quietest.

The Define Mini is sound dampened and doesn't have a window, the 350D isn't sound dampened but does have a window. So the fractal should be a bit quieter.

It really depends on the kind of CPU cooler and fans you choose. Noctua and bequiet fans/cpu coolers can effectiveley bring down the noise of any system.

btw. why an APU AND a dedicated GPU? wouldn't a FX CPU be a better choice? Like the FX 6300

Edit: let ^TheSLSAMG help you. :D

who cares...

Yeah it isn't the best I am planning on upgrading the Cpu/Apu .But at the moment its good. I might eventually get intel but that wont be for a while.

The problem really is my Budget and being in Australia doesn't help with the prices. What might be 100 dollars in the states can be 150 dollars in Australia. Really Sucks!

First of all, what's your budget? And it makes it a lot simpler to research and get part prices from different shops if you use pcpartpicker.com

The Silverstone SG10 (same thing as the SG09, but with an updated not as horrid looking front panel) is the most space efficient microatx case (meaning it's the smallest micro atx case that can stuff great components)

The Corsair 350d looks really sleek, but is quite big for a micro atx case

The Silverstone TJ08 is pretty compact and also quite space efficient for a micro atx case. Definitely a good contender you should look at.

The define mini is the only good "silence optimized" mATX case out there

The FT03 has a very nice design and a pretty original internal layout. Also takes up very little space on a desk because it's mostly vertical.

The Arc MIdi R2 is a simple case, but it works great.

The Build is a little bit of a Frankenstein, It originally started of as a Branded Hp Pc and I added and took away from it. Only recently I have  taken an interest in the AMD APUs. In a way it is a back up for if my gpu has any problems. Budget is also another thing being only 15 makes it quite hard to find the money for high end pieces so I do what I can. Overall my Current financial state is what is holding me down.
