I would just get an Asus BT-400. It won't waste a space in your build and it is extremely discrete.

It's Bluetooth. It doesn't need a lot to function normally. Just put it in a clear open area, i.e. the front USB ports, and get to using it. 

 

If you're asking if it's good, I'd say it definitely is. I've got three at home and aside from my NES30 giving me pairing issues between the three, it's great. Detects my phone, DS4, and other 8bitdo controllers just fine. The oldest one is from 2014, I believe, so you're not likely to need another even if a better BT protocol comes out.
