For home theater? Not bad, provided your board can accept the CPU (likely won't out of box).

For gaming, it won't perform amazingly, but enough to play older games smoothly.

Either way I wouldn't use that stock PSU. It's only 150W with a 80+ Bronze rating, and it's most likely cheaply built.

anything specific to run with windows?

 

i'm not a fan of premium HDD- wd black , may be get portable 2tb drives

alternative to HTPC: get raspberry pi and portable HDD.
