How do I connect to a dual band router over 5Ghz with an Archer T6E AC1300 adapter?

as the title says, how do I force the connection to be 5Ghz on a TP-Link Archer T6E AC1300. I've tried finding other guides but none of those options show up on this adapter and I can't find a guide for this adapter.
