Quick question

Hi guys

 

I need to send my new laptop back as it runs very hot and I'm going to buy a different model instead. I have just reset the PC and got to the windows installation bit (where it asks for reigon and wifi etc...) but I do not want to continue. Can I just turn it off with the power button?

Don't see why you'd need to finish install, company probably reset everything once they get it back anyway.

I just wanted to reset it just in case any of my details or password may have got stolen for instance, just some peace of mind. Is it ok just to turn it off at the power button mid setup then?

Well since you don't need to install... yeah, just shut it off.

Thank you, was just making sure it wouldn't mess it up as it doesn't have a shut down option.
